承行主旨 方得天国
各位弟兄姐妹，
今天的弥撒读经提醒我们：只有真心悔改，弃恶行善，才能保全生命；只有谦逊求主，怀主之心，方得喜乐圆满；只有承行主旨，言行一致，才能进入天国。现在我以“承行主旨方得天国”为道理题目，并从以下三个方面跟大家分享今天的弥撒读经。
一、弃恶行善，才能保全生命
“天主是最公义的，有善必赏，有恶必罚。”这是我们教会当信的道理。可我们知道，在我们的人类历史中，常会出现：有的人先善后恶，有的人先恶后善。天主怎样对待这两种人呢？今天弥撒的读经一厄则克耳先知书就回答了这个问题。“若是义人离弃正义而行恶，因而丧亡，是因为他所行的恶而丧亡。若恶人远离他所行的恶事，而遵行法律和正义，必能保全自己的生命，因为他考虑之后，离弃了所行的一切恶事，他必生存，不至丧亡。”（则18：27-28）
这是颠扑不破的真理，在历史和现实生活中也是屡见不鲜。比如在圣经中，耶稣的十二宗徒之一茹达斯曾跟随耶稣三年时间，可后来由于出卖自己的师傅耶稣，最后不仅落得上吊自杀的可悲下场，而且更可悲的是，耶稣说：“人子固然要按照指着他所记载的而去，但出卖人子的那人却是有祸的！那人若没有生，为他更好。”（玛26：24）
根据路加福音记载，在耶稣被钉十字架上时，有两个强盗同他一起被钉十字架上。其中有一个侮辱耶稣说：“你不是默西亚吗？救救你自己和我们罢！”另一个凶犯应声责斥他说：“你既然受同样的刑罚，连天主你都不怕吗？这对我们是理所当然的，因为我们所受的，正配我们所行的；但是，这个人从未做过什么不正当的事。”随后说：“耶稣，当你来为王时，请你纪念我！”耶稣给他说：“我实在告诉你：今天你就要与我一同在乐园里。”（路23：39-43）后一个强盗看到耶稣后，不仅意识到自己的重罪，而且向耶稣表示悔改，求耶稣在为王时，能记得他，耶稣则对他说：“今天你就要与我一同在乐园里”。这个强盗可能罪恶累累、罪大恶极，但他在临死前愿意悔改归向耶稣，愿意弃恶行善，因此最终能与耶稣同进天国，保全了生命的得救。
是弃恶行善，还是弃善行恶，是我们的自由选择。可由于我们人性的软弱，我们所生活的世界充满着各种让人陷于罪恶的诱惑，往往是弃恶行善难、弃善行恶易，正如圣保禄宗徒说的“我所愿意的善，我不去行；而我所不愿意的恶，我却去做。”（罗7：19）那怎么办呢？圣保禄说：“我这个人真不幸呀！谁能救我脱离这该死的肉身呢？感谢天主，藉着我们的主耶稣基督。”主耶稣基督是天主的圣言，也就是藉着听从天主的圣言，我们才能做到弃恶行善。圣奥斯定的悔改更新就是一个最好的例子。
奥斯定公元354年出生在非洲，年青时生活放荡，游手好闲。20岁时他往意大利的米兰读书，成为一位修辞学教授，但他的生活仍然放荡不羁。一天他正在花园里反省自己的生活，突然哭了起来。大声向天主说：“天主啊！你要放弃我到什么时候？是永远吗？为什么你不结束我放荡的生活呢？”突然间，他听到像一个小孩子的声音说：“拿起它！拿起它读吧！”于是他跑进房间，看到一本圣经，他翻开，看到圣保禄写给罗马教会的书信：“我们该脱去黑暗的行为，佩戴光明的武器；行动要端庄，好像在白天一样，不可狂宴豪饮，不可淫乱放荡，不可争斗嫉妒；但该穿上主耶稣基督；不应只挂念肉性的事，以满足私欲。”（罗13：12-14）看到这里，他放下圣经，觉得不需要再看下去。因为当时他内心好像浮现一盏明灯，抹去他所有的怀疑，他的灵魂充满了平安。从此，奥斯定彻底悔改，弃恶皈依基督，由一个罪人成为圣人。
二、谦卑求主，方得圆满喜乐
前天是我国的传统节日中秋节。中秋节是庆祝团圆的喜庆日子。但这心愿和祝福在世上只是短暂的，因为“月有阴晴圆缺，人有悲欢离合，此事古难全。”那这“古难全”之事，是不是就不能满全呢？当然不是！只是“难”，而非“不能”，自然规律人不可改变，但安排自然规律的天主却是易如反掌。
在今天弥撒的读经二中，圣保禄宗徒告诉我们说，如果我们在基督内获得了鼓励，爱的劝勉，圣神的交往，爱怜和同情，……彼此意见一致，有同样的爱心，一心一意，思想同样的事；不论做什么，不从私见，也不求虚荣，只存心谦下，各人不只顾自己的事，也顾及别人的事，特别是怀有基督耶稣所怀有的完全顺服天父的心情，就能获得圆满的喜乐。
主耶稣也对我们说：“直到现在，你们没有因我的名求什么；求吧！必会得到，好使你们的喜乐得以圆满。”（若16：24）
三、承行主旨，方能进入天国
在今天的弥撒福音中，主耶稣借“二子的比喻”，告诉人：天主喜爱实际的善行，而不喜欢那些只说不做的假善人。
在“二子的比喻”中，大儿子，也就是对父亲的话回答说：主，我去。但他没有去。是暗指司祭长和民间长老。他们往往以天主的长子自居，以为自己是天主的选民，是最守法的，但他们空有义人之虚名而无义人之实，专务外表而不务内修；他们只说不做，光是答应了事。
耶稣曾经说过：不是向我说“主啊！主啊！”的人就能进天国，而是承行我在天之父旨意的人，才能进天国。
二儿子，也就是对父亲的话回答说：我不愿意去。但是后来后悔了，就去了。是代表税吏、娼妓等罪人。因为他们虽然起初时不听天主的话，犯罪作恶，但听了若翰的宣讲后，就翻然悔改，信从了耶稣，终于进入了天主之国。比如玛窦、匝凯都是税吏，他们都悔改了，真心实意地跟随耶稣。至于娼妓，在圣经上最有名的是玛利亚玛达肋纳，她痛改前非，除了圣母玛利亚外，没有一个比她更爱耶稣的。
当然，耶稣并没有说司祭长和民间长老被弃于天国之外，只是对他们说：“我实在告诉你们：税吏和娼妓要在你们以先进入天国。”（玛21：31）原因是：他们只要悔改，还是能进入天国。只是当时的司祭长和民间长老虽然明知若翰是一位大德的先知，亲眼见到税吏和娼妓等大罪人，听了他的宣讲而悔改受洗了，但他们自以为了不起、骄傲，不愿悔改，因此不得进入天国。
结语
各位弟兄姐妹，弃恶行善，才能保全生命；谦卑求主，方得圆满喜乐；承行主旨，方能进入天国。我们要做言行相符的教友，就是要思想像基督，生活像基督，并且能以福音的精神作生活的准则。像圣保禄宗徒说的：“不可只顾自己，也该关心别人，怀有耶稣基督所怀的心情。”

Perfect obedience to the will of God
Welcome to today’s celebration of the Holy Mass on the Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Why are we gathered here tonight? It is because we are spiritually hungry for the Word of God. In obedience to God’s righteousness, we have chosen to attend the service of the Holy Mass so that we may participate in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and receive the richness of the knowledge and understanding that comes from the Word of God. May God bless us all abundantly for our spiritual perseverance.
During today’s reading from the Gospel of Matthew, [Mt. 21:28-32] we heard Jesus tell the story of the man who had two sons. The father asked one of his sons to go and work in the vineyard. His son said that he would not go but he changed his mind and he went. The second son said that he would go but he did not go.
The son who promised to go and work in the vineyard, but he did not go, he broke his promise. He was no different than God’s chosen people of the Old Testament who broke the Old Covenant. He was no different than the people within the Church today who break the new Covenant of God by turnings away from His righteous ways.
Jesus asked, “Which of the two did the will of his father?” Naturally, we all know that it is the one who obeyed. Do any of you know that some converts make better Catholics than Catholics who were admitted into the Church as infants? Do any of you want to know why? It is because, before they joined the Catholic faith, they studied and studied the Sacred Word of God that is found in the Holy Scriptures. They did years of research to prove to themselves beyond any doubt, that what the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church teaches, it is the One and only Truth. How many Catholics can we count that have made as much effort to learn about the Will of God and His true Church? Is it not true that many Catholics take their religious belief for granted, slacking off here and there?
Jesus asked, “Which of the two did the will of his father?” I ask who is doing the will of the Father, “Is it those who take birth control pills contrary to the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church?” “Is it those who approve of abortions?” “Is it those who approve of same sex marriage?” “Is it those who approve of all the filth that is found on their television, allowing their children to watch sex, violence, foul language, day after day?” “Is it those who constantly use the Most Holy Name of Jesus in vain?” And I can continue with this list as you are all aware.
Now, what about those who years ago, consecrated their lives to the Sacred Heart of Jesus or to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and who have fallen from their righteousness since then? What about those who are rejecting the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church, the Catechism and the Holy Bible on the matter of the Kingdom of God that has arrived on earth and that is to come? Are they going to continue to reject the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Tabernacle in hope of the Antichrist, a secular Messianism? (Catechism # 676)
Do these souls expect to be rewarded for their sinful lives? Perfect obedience to the Divine Will of God is to give oneself completely, one hundred percent, without exception as Jesus gave Himself in perfect obedience to the Heavenly Father, to the point of death, even death on the cross.
My brothers and sisters, this week, let us take the time to reflect on all what has been mentioned. Let us ask ourselves, “Am I in complete obedience to the Will of God?”
