\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u6559\u4f1a\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u4e0a\uff0c\u4e5f\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u4eba\u6548\u6cd5\u4e3b\u8036\u7a23\u7684\u699c\u6837\uff0c\u7518\u613f\u4e3a\u4e3b\u6b89\u9053\u3002\u5982\u5723\u65af\u5fb7\u671b\u6b7b\u4e8e\u6559\u4f1a\u521d\u671f\u7684\u6559\u96be\uff0c\u5723\u4f2f\u591a\u7984\u5723\u4fdd\u7984\u6b7b\u4e8e\u7f57\u9a6c\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u6559\u96be\u3002\u7b49\u7b49\u3002<\/span><\/p>

Seek the will of God in all things<\/h6>

“Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”\u00a0[Mt.\u00a06:10]\u00a0Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,\u00a0every time that we repeat the Sacred Words that Jesus taught us in the Lord’s Prayer,\u00a0we ask our Heavenly Father that His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.<\/p>

What does it mean to ask that\u00a0“The Lord’s will be done?”\u00a0[Acts 21:14]\u00a0Does it mean that by some supernatural means,\u00a0because we pray to God the Father,\u00a0that He will change things for the better?\u00a0Or,\u00a0does the Lord’s Prayer ask for Divine favour by the grace of the Lord and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit,\u00a0that we and those around us be transformed according to His Divine Will?<\/p>

My brothers and sisters,\u00a0nothing in this world will improve unless we change!\u00a0Unless we change our thoughts,\u00a0our words and our actions according to the Divine Will of God,\u00a0nothing will improve.\u00a0Prayers are fruitless when there is no sincerity of heart.\u00a0As Jesus said,\u00a0“Not everyone who says to me,\u00a0‘Lord,\u00a0Lord,’\u00a0will enter the Kingdom of heaven,\u00a0but only the one who does the will of My Father in Heaven.”\u00a0[Mt.\u00a07:21]<\/p>

The evidence of the inner battle between our spiritual and worldly inclinations,\u00a0often being out of control because we do not think before we speak and act,\u00a0was mentioned in today’s Gospel Reading when Jesus told His disciples that He must undergo great suffering and death.\u00a0Embracing a worldly mind,\u00a0Peter took Jesus aside and told Him,\u00a0“God forbid it,\u00a0Lord!\u00a0This must never happen to you.”\u00a0Consequently,\u00a0Jesus rebuked Peter because he was thinking worldly,\u00a0only seeking worldly comfort.\u00a0By failing to think spiritually according to the will of God,\u00a0Peter was not striving to see the spiritual benefits of the suffering and death of Christ for the salvation of mankind.<\/p>

My brothers and sisters,\u00a0having received the Sacrament of Baptism and the new creation of the godly seed,\u00a0we have all experienced this burning hunger from time to time.\u00a0It is because our spirits are starving for spiritual food.\u00a0When God promised the New Covenant through the Blood of Christ,\u00a0He said,\u00a0“I will put my law within them,\u00a0and I will write it on their hearts;\u00a0and I will be their God,\u00a0and they shall be my people.”\u00a0[Ezek.\u00a031:33]<\/p>

Having God’s law written on our hearts,\u00a0the commandment of loving God first and then our neighbours,\u00a0we cannot run away from God’s burning fire.\u00a0Our God is a consuming fire.\u00a0[Heb.\u00a012:29]\u00a0“He is like a refiner’s fire.\u00a0With our cooperation,\u00a0our free will,\u00a0He will refine us like gold and silver until we present offerings to Him in righteousness.”\u00a0[Mal.\u00a03:2-3]\u00a0The One and only true Lord God is our God and He is speaking to us in our hearts.\u00a0Will we respond or will we continue to choke His voice by remaining indifferent to His call?\u00a0Are we going to dull our spiritual inclinations to the extent that we will no longer hear the voice of the Lord in our hearts?<\/p>

When we seek to live the ways of the world,\u00a0we choke the voice of the Lord God.\u00a0Alcoholism,\u00a0drugs,\u00a0dishonesty,\u00a0adultery,\u00a0hatred,\u00a0slander,\u00a0child neglect,\u00a0all of these things choke the voice of the Lord God.\u00a0Such worldly ways do not feed our spiritual lives.\u00a0It dulls them.\u00a0It leaves us as worldly souls that walk in the darkness,\u00a0deprived of spiritual growth.\u00a0It disqualifies us as children of God,\u00a0taking away from us the promised salvation and inheritance of eternal life in the Kingdom of God.<\/p>

My brothers and sisters,\u00a0today’s message is,\u00a0“Seek the Will of God in all things.”\u00a0When,\u00a0by the grace of God,\u00a0we feel that burning fire within our hearts,\u00a0let us realize that God is calling us to be spiritual in thoughts,\u00a0in words and in actions.\u00a0Let us not continue to act in worldly ways,\u00a0allowing our conscience to convict us of our sins.\u00a0Let us turn our eyes towards the Lord.\u00a0Let us acknowledge Him in love.\u00a0Let us show repentance with a commitment.\u00a0And finally,\u00a0let us thank the Lord Jesus for speaking in our heart by glorifying His Most Holy Name.<\/p><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
